What is Full-angle Leeb Hardness Tester?

The full-angle Leeb hardness tester measures at any angle in accordance with the Leeb principle to calculate the hardness value, regardless of whether it is upward, downward or horizontal. The same measurement results are obtained for the same workpiece in different directions, which greatly improves the measurement accuracy.

The accuracy of the full-angle Leeb hardness tester is generally much higher than that of the single-angle Leeb hardness tester, especially in measurements in different directions. Usually, the accuracy of the full-angle hardness tester is ≤±0.3% (when HL=800), and the repeatability is around ±2HL.
