Introduction to specifications of diamond cutting discs


Metallographic cutting machines specially designed for cutting hard materials such as metals, alloys, and ceramics. They can provide high-precision and high-stability cutting results, often equipped with cooling systems, adjustable cutting speeds and different sized cutting blades to accommodate a variety of different materials and cutting requirements.


Below are main types of diamond cutting discs:

Continuous edge saw blade: Continuous serrated diamond cutting blade, generally produced by sintering method. Bronze binder is commonly used as the basic matrix material. Water must be added during cutting to ensure the cutting effect, and a laser is used to cut the gap with the blade head.


Blade-type cutting blade: The saw teeth are disconnected and the cutting speed is fast. It is suitable for both dry and wet cutting methods.

Turbine-type cutting blade: Combining the advantages of the previous two items, the saw teeth continuously present a turbine-shaped uniform convex and concave, which increases the cutting speed and increases the service life.


In addition, the diameter of diamond cutting discs spans a wide range, from 5 to 4500mm, and the thickness ranges from 0.1 to 15mm. Diamond cutting discs of different diameters and thicknesses are suitable for different cutting scenarios and materials.


For example, saw blades with specifications below 250mm are mainly used on hand-held, semi-professional cutting machines for decoration and decorative material processing;


saw blades with specifications P350-500mm are mainly used for processing semi-finished plate building materials into engineering grooving (breaking);


600-900mm specification saw blade is mainly used for the forming and sawing processing of thick stone slabs (columns) such as tombstones and tomb pillars;


the 1000mm and above specification saw blades are mainly used for the sawing and cutting of blocks (boards), especially 1600mm saw blades are most commonly used.


When choosing a diamond cutting disc, you need to select the appropriate specification model based on the specific cutting needs and material characteristics.
