Principle of Vision Measuring Machine

 

The vision measuring instrument is a device that uses optical imaging and image processing technology for measurement. Its principle is based on camera imaging and image feature extraction.

 

The principle of the image measuring instrument is introduced below:

 

Principle:

1. Camera imaging: The image measuring instrument uses a built-in high-resolution camera to obtain the image of the object to be measured. The camera focuses light on the sensor to form a two-dimensional digital image.

 

2. Feature extraction: Through image processing algorithms, the image measuring instrument can extract the edges, corners, curves and other features of the object. These features can be used to measure the size, shape and surface features of the object.

 

3. Calibration: In order to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results, the image measuring instrument needs to be calibrated. During the calibration process, it is necessary to use a standard object of known size for calibration to establish a relationship model between camera imaging and object size.

 

4. Measurement calculation: Based on the results of feature extraction and calibration, the image measuring instrument can calculate the size, shape and surface features of the object according to the preset algorithm. These results can be displayed and recorded in the form of numbers, charts or images.
