LCD Auto Lifting Rockwell Hardness Testing Machine Material Hardness Testing Equipment
Motor driving lifting mechanism make the testing more easily. Just press “START” key once, whole process will be finished automatically. No matter the size of the sample, the position of the sample, the distance between the indenter and sample surface. The sample will be auto-lifted to approach the indenter and finishing testing automatically.
Better testing accuracy than handle wheel lifting type which effected by human factors.
Integrated casting body with more wide iron basement leads to more stable.
Twin tester--Regular Rockwell & Rockwell Superficial hardness for metal and plastic material.
Horizontal Protrudent Indenter Design, suitable for internal and external testing.
Testing on Surfaces difficult to reach by normal design. Easy to test internal surface of rings and tubes with diameters over 23mm.
Testing force is set automatically according to testing scale.
Provided with many features such as high measuring precision, wide measuring range with 30 Rockwell scales.
The tester is suitable for testing of carbon steel, alloy steel, cast iron, non ferrous metal.
Measuring results displays on LCD directly and can be printed, or transmitted to external computer automatically by USB or RS-232 data output port.
Test value can be converted to the value of HB, HV, HK and σb value.
Curved surface correcting automatically.
The tester conform following standards ISO 6508-2, ASTM E18.

The Rockwell test consists of measuring the additional depth to which a carbide ball or diamond penetrator is forced by a heavy (major) load beyond the depth of a previously applied light (minor) load (SET point).
The minor load is applied first and a SET position is established on the dial gauge or displacement sensor of the Rockwell tester. Then the major load is applied. Without moving the piece being tested, the major load is removed and, with the minor load still applied, the Rockwell hardness number is automatically indicated on the dial gauge or digital display.
The diamond penetrator is used for testing materials such as hardened steels and cemented carbides. The carbide ball penetrators, available with 1/16 inch, 1/8 inch, 1/4 inch, and 1/2 inch diameter, are used when testing materials such as steel-copper alloys, aluminum and plastics to name a few.
Rockwell testing falls into two categories: Regular Rockwell testing (e.g., C and B scales) and Rockwell superficial testing (e.g., 30 N and 30 T scales).
High Rockwell hardness numbers represent hard materials and low numbers soft materials.
